Who Are We \ Contact

The Glasgow Underwater Group was formed in 2007 and contains a growing membership of qualified SCUBA divers from various dive organisations. If you would like to join GLUG, we meet every Thursday night in ‘The Millhouse‘ on Dumbarton Road at about 9.30pm, so come along and meet us!

We are a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club and dive according to their recommendations. We have several members who are are qualified through other organisations though, so we are by no means exclusive!

Training
We are offering ‘in-house’ dive training, if you are a BSAC member. Currently we do not take in complete beginners but will take in anyone with a basic diving qualification. For those trained with agencies other than BSAC you have the option to join and dive as you are, or “cross-over” to the equivalent BSAC qualification. The latter option will enable you to progress your training with our BSAC instructors.
