This is where you can find information on the latest (major) dive trips being organised by GLUG. We dive locally virtually every weekend of the year, but these dives tend to more informal and will be organised in the pub on Thursdays.
2010
In quick revew of 2010, we have dived several times on the Flying Eagle (Clyde), had several joint trips with the University club to Oban, had a weekend diving U-boats off the East Coast, a weekend at the Farnes, a weekend at Mull and shore diving pretty much on a weekly basis.
In addition we have run several BS-AC skill development courses: Advanced Nitrox, Boat Handling and Diver Cox’n, Oxygen Administration, Buoyancy Workshop and Practical Rescue Management. Two members have achieved the highest club diving grade of BS-AC “Advanced Diver” and we have 1 new boat handling instructor and 1 new Diver Cox’n assessor qualified.
2011
These trips are confirmed as happening as of end Nov 2010. We also shore dive throughout the year and in the summer months do mid-week evening dives.
